Bookmarking a topic
You can find a topic more easily in the future by setting a bookmark.For an information center deployed on a server and viewed over an intranet or the Internet, you can save bookmarks for topics to your browser's bookmarks or favorites menu. For an information center that is installed and viewed locally on your machine, you can save bookmarks for topics to the Bookmarks view.
- When viewing an information center that is local on your machine,
click the Bookmark icon (
) to save a bookmark for the current topic to the Bookmarks view. - When viewing a remote information center, right-click anywhere in the topic that you are currently viewing. Follow the menu options to save a bookmark to the topic. The bookmark is saved to your browser's bookmark or favorites menu.
- Internet Explorer only: When viewing a remote information center in Internet Explorer, you can click the Bookmark icon and save the bookmark to one of your Favorites folders.
Printing topics
To print the topic that you are viewing, click Print (
).
To print multiple topics at one time, use the quick print choices on the Quick menu:- To open the Quick menu, hold your cursor
over a topic in the Contents view.
The icon (
) for the Quick menu appears.
Click the icon.
- To print only the selected topic, click Print this topic to open the Print Preview window.
- To print the selected topic and all of its subtopics, click Print this topic and subtopics to open the Print Preview window.
- To change the page setup before printing, select File->Page Setup in the preview window and modify the settings.
- When you are ready to send the job to the printer, click Print (
)
in the Print Preview window to start printing.
